What should I wear for my session and what should I bring with me?
The key is for your clothes to coordinate, not match perfectly for any engagement or family session. If you are doing an engagement or senior session, be sure to bring a good mix of clothes – casual and dressy. And unless you can’t live without it, I really recommend no solid white shirts. Layers are great and can really help make your outfit complete or help coordinate your outfits. Jackets, scarfs, fun jewelry or shoes can all make the difference! As for what to bring, you can bring anything that will show your personality and make your session unique. Here are some fun prop ideas: a blanket, instrument, pet, couch or chair, skateboard, hats, etc.

Where will my session take place?
I am an on-location photographer. I have a list of places that I normally use that I can send you after you book a session. But if you have somewhere else you want to go that is great. I love finding new places! We can also take pictures at your home if you are wanting a more personalized session. I recommend shooting newborn sessions in your home where you and your baby are more comfortable.
Do you travel?
Yes! But travel expenses must be covered. For inside Texas it is $.50 per mile and a hotel room as necessary. For outside of Texas email me for a quote.
I also offer FREE destination weddings, in exchange for 2 plane tickets, 3 nights lodging, a rental car and $250 for other expenses (food, your disc, shipping, etc.). And you will get a disc of all of the images from your wedding!
When will I see my photos?
Weddings: I will post a preview of all of the pictures on my blog 1-2 weeks after your wedding. Your online gallery will be up 2-3 months after your wedding and you can pick up your disc or it will be mailed shortly after that.
All sessions: I will post a preview on my blog within a week after your session, and your online gallery will be ready within a month (if not sooner).
How long should I allow to receive my order?
Prints: Allow 2-3 weeks for processing after you have paid.
Albums: After your wedding it will take me 3-4 months to design the album. After you approve it, it will take 4-6 weeks to come in.

How far in advance should I schedule my session?
Weddings usually book 6 months to a year before. Photo sessions depend on the time of year and how full my schedule is. If you want a Saturday session then you should book a few months before hand because those fill up quick if I don’t have a wedding. If you want a week day session you can probably just book a few weeks in advance. Just call and ask!
When should I schedule my maternity photos?
6-10 weeks before your due date is best. But anytime you like the shape of your tummy and are feeling good is great! If you are having multiples, you will need to book sooner.
When should I schedule newborn pictures?
It is best to take newborn pictures before your baby is 2 weeks old. They sleep better and curl up better for pictures before then. If you know you want to schedule pictures call me before hand and let me know your due date so I can plan ahead a little. Then call me again as soon as you are able to after you deliver to make your appointment!
